How Does Alexa Work, Compatible Devices And Its Details

A virtual Assistant developed by Amazon is known as Amazon Alexa released in the year 2014. This Virtual Assitant runs on Fire OS or later,  iOS 8.0 or later, Android 4.4 or later.

Alexa is capable of voice interaction, music playback, making to-do lists, setting alarms and much more.

How does Alexa work?

Alexa is a Virtual Assistant that is integrated into devices like Amazon Echo Dot, Echo, Echo Plus, or Amazon Fire Tv. You can’t just buy “Alexa” separately just like you cant buy “Cortana” of windows or “Siri” of apple. You need to buy the device to use these virtual Assitant.

You just need to say “Alexa” to turn on Amazon devices and ask them any queries. You can even play music, order food or shopping from Amazon.

Alexa is the official name for amazon voice assistant, they let you change the wake-up word to Amazon or echo. It’s a very useful feature if your name or someone close to you has a similar name.

Alexa works with most of the smart household devices which can be turned off and on with just a voice command. It can turn off light, prepare coffee or lock your device.
