1)Put the AirPods in the charging case
2)Press and hold the power button for at least 15 sec until the color goes to amber from white which indicates that the AirPods have been reset

The AirPods have a unique feature of sensing whenever you put them on your ear. The proximity sensor in the AirPods helps you to play music whenever you put them on or pause music if you take it out. If it isn’t working as described, you have to check if it’s enabled or not. To check if its enable or not first go to setting app on your ios device and select Bluetooth, then select your device from the list by pressing the “i” which is circled and shown on right side of your device name, and make sure the automatic ear detection is turned on.
